My boys are oblivious to thunderstorms... they have NO idea and don't care at all. Some dogs shake and panic and pant. Someone one time said their dog hides behind the toilet in the bathroom and shakes uncontrollably! sooo sad
We had an outdoor dog growing up that hid under the car when it thundered out. She never wanted to come in, she was a samoyed who found the house too hot! If we could coax her out we would put her on the porch at least and she would shake under the table. soooo sad!
