I am certainly no expert in this area as I just had my first litter as well. My puppies were born on March 18th and they are now 16 days old. They have gained pretty steadily at nearly 1 ounce a day. I don't know if this is average or not. The 3 girls started out at just over 3 ounces and they boy at 5 ounces. The girls now weigh 13 and 14 ounces,and the boy is 1 pound 4 oz !! He just opened his eyes yesterday.
