Alot of trainers will have a package plan. So many lessons for so much money.
Only you can tell when enough is enough.

Check out more then one because prices can vary ALOT. In my area it was from $15 an hour to $45 an hour. I found that a $20 an hour lady was the best. She always stayed more then an hour and also we took outing to parks and stuff so the dog could learn to listen with distractions and other dogs and people around. You also want to find someone that will come to your home and meet with your dog first. You can usually tell right away who will be good and who won't. The $20 an hour lady stayed 45 minutes for the first free get aquainted visit and already had her snapping to it. The key is practice and reinforcement when the dog learns what the commands mean. most good trainers can teach you also just how to PRACTICE.

Seems kinda pricey but still way more convenient then regular puppy classes and also cheaper then the send away school
