 Update on Michelle.......
Michelle went to the ER at Ben Taub hospital at 4:30 this morning. She has been experiencing increasing pain in the abdominal area the last few days. Plus she has not been able to hold down food. The doctors ran a CT scan and it showed that Michelle has an infection in the area of her abdomen where the end of the shunt is. David also said she has some sort of blockage but he was not sure where. Michelle's head doctor is working with the stomach doctor to decided what the best course of action will be. For now they treating her with antibiotics but if that does not work then they will do surgery. They also put a pic line in Michelle so it will be easier for her to get her meds and iv fluids. Your continued prayers are so much appreciated. |
