When I was looking for my dog, these kinds of meetings were what tipped me off to puppy millers-they never want you to visit their homes. meeting were always suggested for coffee shops or parking lots!

Its a hard call- as a buyer, I would like to see where the puppy is being raised. As a seller, she would rather not have strangers come into her home-understandable.
that's why i suggested a neutral place as an initial meeting place, and then go take them to their home if they're comfortable with the people they just met. But I guess you're right, it's hit and miss and trust is really wearing thin thanks to puppy millers and thieves.
