I realize this is a very rare situation but I have new pigeon chicks on my balcony. This wasn't by my choice but I really am quite delighted.
I have three Yorkies and one Himalayan who have access to the balcony 24/7. I have barricaded Mom and babies off so my furbabies can't get to them. The feline and two of my Yorkies show no interest at all.... but Emily (5) constantly wants to sit beside the barricade, No barking or whining she just wants to be there. It is more like an obsession. This morning before I came to work I just caved in dressed her up and put a bed out there. I am in Vancouver and we had late snow yesterday! Do you think this is harmful to her? Can she get a cold? I can't just shut the door as there is a litter box and piddle pads out there...
