When I got Mimi's pups' tails docked at the vet...the technician cut 3 of the babies' tails too short, while the doc did the other 2 exactly where I told her I wanted it. Well, a few days later, one of the boy's tail that was cut too short was having circulatory problems & I could see the cartiledge! I took him back to the vet & a technician had the nerve to tell me 'In nature, the weakest one dies'

I was furious, but I told him 'You know what, they're not out in nature...' Anyway, to make the long story short, the poor little guy has no tail (the other two baby girls have very short little stumps)...but is a happy puppy in a new loving home, where his mommie adores him, just the way he is. I'm so scared to dock the tails myself, but I won't go back to the same hospital to dock tails.
