What a fun thread to read! My DH and I took several weeks to name our pup. We called her "Baby Y" before we brought her home and had decided on her name. Top names in the running were: Coco, Coconut, Mango, and... I forget the others. DH wanted to give her a big 'tough dog' name like "Killer". (Yeah,
RIGHT!) She was so small when we got her (a mere 1 lb 1 oz) and her expected adult weight was in the 3 lb range, so I suggested the name "Megatron" as a joke over dinner. It stuck! Of course we call her "Meg" normally. "Megatron" is her 'bad doggie' name.
I *love* the name Nemo!
