What a great idea for a thread! I love reading everyones inspirations for their babies names. Thanks for sharing!!!
Mine are:
Barley (Yorkie) was named when we rescued him. In the sad, sick and skinny condition he was in I just couldn't change it. Now, he comes to "where's my boy" too
Mischa (toy poodle) I wanted something French (she was born in 2000, so it's before 9-11 and the whole F...France thing). I seen in a baby name bookd that it means little one in French, so it was a fit.
Garrett (Great Pyrenees) Growning up I had a GP and lived in a neighborhood that we teenagers were very proud of. It was called Garrett's Run. So I knew that when I got a GP I would like to call him something to show the love and respect I had for the GP that I grew up with and to respect the neighborhood where we spent all my fond memories at. She was Buffie, big, white beautiful Buffie. She went through the preteen, teenaged and young adult life with me. Man, it's been 14 years and I still miss her like crazy.
