Yes, this is a dilemma
I have listed on Puppy find my self in the past and I consider myself a reputable breeder. I have never sold a puppy through that site, but I did get a lot of traffic to my website because of that listing and other sites as well. I don’t really watch puppy find, but I know there are a lot of people who look at it every day, so I think it is a valuable resource and should be used. Be very specific about what you are offering, the testing you do and what you ARE NOT. Be careful about how you answer the inquiries you get, most of them I just didn’t answer because I could tell they were NOT people who I would allow to have one of my puppies. I do a thorough screening and ask for references, I would put that in my puppy find ad next time I think.
I do think if you are going to breed Biewers, and you don’t intend on keeping them all, you are going to have to get a website. You are selling to a very limited audience and most people need loads of pictures and want to know about you, your dogs, your philosophy, your home, your history etc before they invest the amount of time and money generally required for a Biewer. The Biewer is a relatively new breed and many people need to be educated on them too prior to taking them into their home. As we all know, not all Biewer breeders are created equal and there are some very destructive people out there.
By the way, I don’t ship or take pay pal (for dogs) either and that has not been a problem in selling my puppies. I just had a litter of 5 and sold all three males as pets without a problem. You do need to advertise and build up a reputation.. two of the little boys went to friends of people who had adopted from my last litter of Biewers. Find the right homes for your little guys and they will help sell the breed to others, and most likely, you as a breeder.
Network with other Biewer breeders, when I don’t have any puppies available, I always refer people who call to others that I know and trust who may have a puppy available. The Biewer community is a very close group and most of us work really well together. Keep up on the Biewer forums too.. both of the ones I belong to allow postings of available puppies. Go meet some of the other breeders at one of the shows. There is nothing like meeting some of the other people and letting them see your dogs. Lot's of great friendship are made at the shows and on the forums.
Hope this helped some, best of luck in finding the perfect home for your little guys.
