The main 2 airports servicing Alexandria are Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) and Washington Dulles International (IAD). The Sheraton offers pet friendly complimentary shuttle service to/from Reagan National Airport. If you are flying into IAD you will need to arrange for a shuttle or a taxi to the hotel. SuperShuttle's website (Welcome to SuperShuttle.com) quotes $35.00 each way to and from IAD to the Sheraton Suites Old Town. DCA is much more convenient to the Sheraton (about 8 miles) so it is the preferred airport.
