Now I know why the amish are so quiet, they are hiding something. The God I serve is a loving God. What God does the amish serve? (q)

The Amish truly are among the worst of the offenders in the way that they treat their animals, both dogs and horses
Amish puppy millers have personally told me that God gave them animals to "make a living off of" and no man or government is going to tell them how to treat their animals.

Maybe not all Amish are puppymillers but a huge majority of them are. I live in Amish country, I see them everyday. Unfortunately I don't think very highly of the Amish anymore. They aren't all bad but unfortunately many are. Puppymills are very very common here and yes they come from the Amish. The Amish view the dogs as livestock so they don't put much care into them. I have seen a lot of Amish around here take such poor care of their horses as well. It is so sad because I see it everyday. So in general, I would never buy a puppy from the Amish and would advise people against it as well

.....During this time we called our Vet and told him what we were doing where we were at and what we had found... He told us to RUN, RUN as fast we could from that place.. He told me that it was sooooooooo VERY COMMON among the Amish! He said .. do NOT buy from them or any other Amish because chances are you will be a very unhappy dog owner.. I am so thankful for the signs and redflags that were given.
“In the Amish community, so-called puppy mills are a big source of income,” said Andy McIlvain, manager for the Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Wellsboro, Tioga County.

“Part of their culture is selling lots of products, and generally the Amish look at animals as another resource to sell"
