I keep Baxter's crate under my bed, and that makes it feel like his ''den.'' He used to go in his old crate all the time and sleep. I found a $25.00 one at Petsmart the other day. It's made from Petmate, but it doesn't have the wire door on top, only in the front. Baxter got to sniffing in it, but he didn't like staying it for too long. I haven't left him alone yet, but my BF might if he decides he needs to go somewhere either tonight or tomorrow. (My BF is watching Baxter while I'm in SC for a wedding.
) But anyways, as soon as I get home I will post some pics for all to see.
I also bought Baxter a new food bowl. He was digging in his other one and tipping it over and biting the bottom. At first, he wouldn't eat out of it, but this morning when I woke up, all his food was gone, so I knew he had eaten.
