I have recently seen her too and I was really surprised at how cool she seemed. I was very disappointed. I don't really know what I was expecting but it wasn't what I got. She basically just recapped her book which I had already read. I'm glad I didn't pay to see her.
I use to enjoy the show but I too have really noticed the changes. But I think the one thing that
really turned me off was the episode where they told the kids they were getting the two dogs and all the kids were so excited sitting around the kitchen table and they said "thank your for getting us puppies" all at the same time and she said "you're not welcome" I just thought that was down right ignorant. It certainly doesn't say much for teaching your children about being gracious, thankful, and I could go on an on. Whether it was for show, the cameras or what--I just thought it was wrong and certainly not cute.
