On animal planet they sometimes have specialist that show you how to train your pooch. One thing they recommend is not giving them the run of the home when your not there. They also say you might want to placing her in her crate or if you dont want to confine her that way a baby gate and leave her in a small room in your house with a little food and water and of course her pad
