Yeast like warm, moist areas, so this is very common.
The two major issues are keeping the ear clear of hair and always using a drying solution after they get wet.
I don't pluck ear hair (but probably should be) but I do use Chlorhexiderm Flush after every bath (when I remember
). They can also be bathed with cotton balls in their ears.
