I agree with this. After a dog is 6 months or so the price drops drastically. Even show breeders who hold back a dog because they think they may be potential show prospect, suffer a huge loss when trying to sell an 8-month almost perfect dog. I know many go for $500.00 and that is for a dog that to the average person is perfect. Joey's breeder offered to take Joey back if I wasn't happy with him for any reason, at any time and she would rehome him, but I would not receive my purchase price back, but only the money she received in rehoming the dog. (Medical issues were handled differently.) It sounds like you are not happy with the dog because of cosmetic reasons and even perhaps aggression problems, and this further reduces the price you will be able to get.
