I am sorry it didn't work out for you Gina.
However, I would most definately have her spayed before re-homing her
to protect her from being bred. You never know who is lurking at ads
and will use her over and over to made a $. That would be my first priority.
If you go to the humane society or aspca they spay for a minimal fee.
Or even your local pound does this, they do here in NY.
My daughter had her pug done for $50.00at the humane society and I paid 325.00 for my Yorkie at my vet's.
I don't think you will recoup your money. I would be more interested in
getting her spayed and into a new forever home at minimal charge.
