K so I'm totally havn the same problem with my male 2 year old I adopted. I would make him sniff (not rub nose) his pee. That didn't work. I've noticed unless you CATCH them in the act they don't understand what they are getting fussed at or why your making them smell pee. I bought a few belly bands and my mom duplicated the pattern and made more. THEY WORK! Bentley HATES when he pee's in the band so he less frequently goes in the house. I'm tryn to break the marking so it's more difficult. Maybe you could invest in the belly band. I recommend getting more than one because at first you will be washing them constantly. Yorkies hate pee in THEIR space and always remember they cant talk to tell you when they have to go. Not to mention their bladders are the size of a greenbean.
