hehe i lie about my weight so i can give blood. now i know lying is bad but i have a pretty rare blood type too (B positive) and i feel it is better to fib a little than not donate
i do not do it as much as i would like to because my veins are really small and unless the tech is really good, they will (1) not even bother trying or (2) miss and then fish around with the needle at which point i tell them to stop because it DOES hurt when they do this
it does sting when they put the needle in but really, it is not that bad. just do not stand up too quickly afterwards. it hurts more than getting blood drawn at the doctors (i think because of the size of the needle?) but less than getting dental work done lol
