I am not suggesting that you have to turn her over to a rescue but there are plenty of people that are looking for that perfect Yorkie and I am sure that a good rescue would be willing to help you find a her a perfect home. They screen all their applicants very well and always try to match the pup to the home and owner's lifestyle. Truthfully, the end goal of a reputable rescue is to find a FOREVER HOME and not just a different home. Such a sad story.
I have not posted about this since page 2 and way back then I suggested the above option. In all of this fighting and argues and bashing and outing somehow my suggestion about 300 plus posts ago was forgotten about. I have to say the OP never said that she already had this dog's profile/ad/information on line to be sold.

So I would like to suggest this again. There are PLENTY or rescues that would be willing to work with a dog owner to rehome a yorkie. They screen, interview and always make sure that the dog is a perfect fit. You do not have to turn the dog over to them, they will allow you to charge a fee, they will not allow a dog to be placed into a home for breeding purposes. They will probably even be able to direct you to a very low cost clinic for a spay.

If you were able to rehome her with the help of a rescue and were able to recoup some of your money($400 or so) while other donated a portion wouldn't that solve this problem? I believe that the above amount is about what you estimated you would be losing anyway~is it not? Everyone says they care about what happens to her, she does seem to have issues with aggression and there are plenty of people willing to adopt a pup just like her.

I would suggest that you contact a rescue in your state and ask for some help. Explain the situation to them and they would be wiling to help you rehome her into the appropriate home. I'm sure they would even be willing to help you with a contract if things didn't work out that she would be returned to the RESCUE and not you personally. That way you will not be obligated to take her back or return any money received for her.

To this breeder that sold you this dog in the first place, I have to say she has really managed to ruin her reputation but probably for the best. Obviously, there are breeders on this forum that are not as legitmate as we would like to believe. This is not the first case even this week.
