Ultimately, Emma needs to be spayed before placement. I'll talk to my vet tomorrow and explain the situation and see if he'd be willing to give me a discount on Emma's spay. I bring parrots to him every week for rescue and he gives our organization a discount for them, so it's worth asking since I have a good relationship with Dr Orr. I can't afford any more out of my pocket. I've lost so much as it is, so getting this done would depend on how much money we could come up with.

I vote give this pup to Yorkie Haven. Jodi would find this pup the best home. You were saying that you rescue birds. Well my husband bought me a Cockatoo from the petstore that was 5 years old. The moment he came into my house he hated me and only loved my husband and children. I fed him and cleaned his cage everyday but he would fly at me bite me and cut me so bad I had to have stiches. I had to find a rescue for him and just wrote off the 1000 dollars spent on this bird. The rescue group still has him and my husband visits about once a month. Do you get my story. We have all made mistakes and learn from them but do the right thing for the pup, which I know you will. Lissette
