Yesterday afternoon Puddin' started shaking her head a lot and by evening she was scratching her right ear. She shook and scratched and whimpered all night long...I got only 3 hours sleep, the poor baby kept me up.

So, off to the vet this morning and I discover she has an ear infection (no surprise there), but the vet says it is a yeast infection. Fortunately it is mild...I caught it early...and with the treatment he gave me, she should be over it in a week or so.

He wasn't very forthcoming when I asked how she got it...and if I don't know how she got it, I don't know what to do to prevent a recurrence. Anybody know anything about this? I was unaware that one could get yeast infections in the ears!
