Again... I'd like to point out that I'm the only one WILLING to do what's right for this dog. Emma is not my responsibility. I didn't accept the responsibility to find her a proper home. I got forced into it because the breeder won't do what she should have done in the first place and stuck me with the task that I wasn't prepared to take on. Had she not misrepresented this dog to me, I would be in this difficult situation and neither would poor Emma. So now I'm the bad guy? How many of you could honestly say you could live with a dog who is aggressive to your 3lb dog and your children? At what point should I accept that she may bite my 4 year old in the face? I'm sorry. I can't do that. I can't take those kinds of risks over a freaking hot dog! This kind of behavior would make anyone desperate. And forgive me for venting to a friend who cared enough to try to help me. That's more than the breeder is doing! She got her money and she's happy. Heck, she even bought a really cute little girl AND a boy just this week. But I'm supposed to just take the financial hit? Could someone please pass me the vaseline? This is getting painful.
Good grief! Stop freaking attacking me. I've been trying to work with the breeder for a week on this. It was after that failed that I had to bring it public. My only gain was so that no one else got hurt by her when I posted this thread.
I'm trying to do the right thing here, but I can't do it by myself. I'm open to all suggestions, so if you have something positive to contribute, please do.
