There are people with experience mediating business disputes. My guess is that you could find a professional mediator, but I have the name of someone who does not have any kind of title, but is very good with this type of thing. If someone PMs me, I can provide her information. She works on cases all over the country.
My guess is that if this ends up with no agreement between buyer and seller, it will end up costing both of you much more than it would to settle this. There would be legal fees, time spent, bile... I was the one who originally suggested that YT members help, but this would definitely be complicated: someone would need to keep records of Emma's spay and adoption fees to verify that everything was done on the up and up, for instance.
I think the ideal situation at this point would be: Emma is sold to a good home. Buyer and seller split the total expenses less whatever her she is sold for. Ideally she would be sold in Utah, so she does not have to be shipped again. I am not sure what a good adoption fee for her would be. Maybe another thread should get started for this. |
There has to be more people on YT from Utah. I can't be the only one. I would be willing to work with another member of YT.
I'm just trying to find a solution to this issue but holy cow... how much more of a beating do I need to take here? I'm not the one that misrepresented the dog and placed her in an unsuitable situation. God I wish I was suitable for Emma, but sadly, I'm not. At least I can admit that.
And yeah I want my money back. Any one of you would too! I'm staring at almost $600 in vet bills on top of what Jasmanea took from me. How much more should I lose here? All I want is for Emma to get a good home and my life get back to normal. SOMEDAY I'll get another dog. But it won't be for a while.
