As for the breeder, I didn't WANT a puppy. I wanted an adult. Raising a puppy is a lot of work and I didn't feel that I should spread my time that thin. Chelsey sells puppies. Occasionally she has adult dogs available but she didn't feel that any of what she had was a good match to my family and was honest with me about that. I respect and admire her for that. She could have made a fast buck from me but chose not to. |
Ahh, okay. that makes more sense.
Well, lesson learned, I'm sure.
I wish there was some way I could help Emma! Poor dear.
Why won't the breeder just refund the money, minus the shipping costs, and pay to have her sent back? That's exactly what I would do! Of course, I love my dogs and couldn't BEAR the thought of one of them being in a home that wasn't right for them. I would be unable to sleep, unable to eat, and money would be the LAST thing on my mind. Who cares about the money? We all gotta eat, I know, but why breed them if you don't absolutely adore them?
