I completely agree. I love this site, even if I haven't been on it very long. The people here are amazing, generous and so very helpful!
We WILL pursue it legally. I'll call my attorney in the morning and see what I have to do to get it started.
Ultimately, Emma needs to be spayed before placement. I'll talk to my vet tomorrow and explain the situation and see if he'd be willing to give me a discount on Emma's spay. I bring parrots to him every week for rescue and he gives our organization a discount for them, so it's worth asking since I have a good relationship with Dr Orr. I can't afford any more out of my pocket. I've lost so much as it is, so getting this done would depend on how much money we could come up with.
