It's not entirely about the money it's just a loss that I'm sure not many of us could afford to just 'brush-off' we're generous to a fault with rescue and we'd never turn our backs on an animal, person, or family in need.

I do however cringe at sending her back to the Seller. She isn't a good fit here but she doesn't deserve that either as she obviously has no intention of doing what is right for Emma.

If the good people of YT are willing to aid financially in the placement of Emma and assist us with offsetting our losses. The least that we can do is place her properly (and would regardless, but with the loss we couldn't do much more than find her a loving family and make back a portion of what we've lost. We'd never place her somewhere that wasn't a good fit just to get more money.) and involve everyone in the process who contributed to seeing this girl get where she needs to be.

Gina will get a hold of our vet tomorrow and find out what it will cost to get her spayed prior to placement. Though we have a pretty good idea of that cost since Teiya just recently went in for that very same thing and the only reason she hasn't had it done yet is because of her weight.

I do however believe that the seller should be banned from any further business transactions as a result of her complete unprofessionalism, deception, and disregard for the well being of Emma. This is definitely not the image of integirty that the YT community wants to be associated with nor portrayed as tolerable behavior. As we don't want to send the message for one moment that anyone can get away with something like this and if she does get away with it, there is nothing to stop other scammers from trying to make a quick buck thinking that it will blow over.
