I need to clarify some things here before anything else is said....
Chelsey is NOT a broker. She helps breeders place dogs in appropriate homes. She's probably one of the best breeders I know and sells her dogs only after doing vet checks, home checks, etc like any GOOD breeder who cares about about their dogs would. Her puppies all come with a health guarantee and if ANYTHING is wrong medically or circumstantially, she gladly takes the dog back and refunds the money, no questions asked.
PLEASE don't drag Chelsey's name through the mud here. She's a kind, caring person with good quality puppies and was working with me prior to the purchase of Emma but she didn't feel any of the dogs she had available would be a good fit to my home and was HONEST with me about this. She wouldn't dare place a dog in a situation where it wouldn't prosper or she'd have given me what ever and taken my money. But she didn't do that. Instead, she was honest.
She was only trying to help place Emma in a proper situation like she should have been in the first place. She cares about what happens but wasn't truly aware of the entire situation or the disposition of Emma. In the end, she was only intending to refer interested people to me. Where Emma went rested on me, NOT Chelsey. All Chelsey was trying to do was get her out there to get her out of my home and where she needed to be.
Our intentions for whatever happened with Emma was for the person to come meet her first. Something that if I would have gotten to do, I would have known she wasn't a good fit and we wouldn't be here today.
