I refuse to cut Phoebe's hair that way...did it once last summer and hated it...she's just not the same without her beautiful hair! So I will have to control the playing between her and baby (which she gets annoyed with the baby after awhile anyway). But Phoenix will wrestle and wrestle till the baby gets tired. He's only 8 months old, and doesn't have long hair yet.

Does anyone else have this issue with puppies? Also, Felicity's hair is matting, which is a surprise to me... Her parents both have silky blue and gold coats...but of course at 12 weeks she is still black and puppy coated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I hate torturing them trying to get those mats out daily!

thanks!

Tobie is my first Yorkie so I am no help with advice for the older ones but Tobie's hair was matting so easily. As his hair has grown out a bit it's gotten better with matting. Oh, and bathing him with a really good shampoo and conditioner helped A LOT!
