I brought a puppy into a home with 3 non-declawed adult cats about 6 months ago. One cat is cranky most of the time and doesn't want anything to do with the puppy and will sometimes growl at him but there hasn't been any real violence. The other two were fine with him although treat him like an annoying little brother. My now 9 month old dog is very quiet and rarely barks. I wonder if growing up with cats does that or if I just got a quiet dog.
