Jasmine was brought home at 8 weeks and it was difficult to put her in her crate at night and not take her out when she began whining and then barking, however we didn't. At around 3 am, we took her out to potty and then back in her crate. She is 13 weeks old now and now sleeps all night, 10 pm until 5 am. We never let her out of her crate when she is whining or barking, that will only tell her that if she whines or barks then she will be let out. She caught on pretty quick. Good luck.
