I have a 13 week old and that is what I do. We play toy fetch and sock pull and tummy rub and all kinds of games that just keeps him going for about 2 hours. Then he gets put on the potty pad, and then he gets laid in his open kennel on my bed. He goes right out, and does not get up till about 7am; or if I get up to go to the bathroom, I will take him as well to his pad and see if he has to go. I find that if you can train them to sleep with you, you actually end up getting more sleep then if you put them in a kennel elsewhere.
