My new ball came today and it works! It is very sensitive- plays your recording when it's barely tapped, but luckily you can turn that part off if it drives you crazy. I'll probably just turn it on when I'm not home since I hate hearing my own voice! I'm sure most dogs would love it. Even my cat, who I thought would have no interest, investigated a bit after I put her treats in it. It's a bit too big for her though (and I got the mini). She was very confused when it played my voice.
