My dogs are all chipped! If your dog gets out of the yard and gets picked up by animal control they scan them first...I have been at the vet a couple of times when people bring in strays to see if they are chipped. Both times they were not, but if they had been and the info up to date they would've been home by the end of the night!! Plus it also PROVES that it is your dog. Say FeeFee runs away and then all of a sudden the people down the street have a dog that looks just like FeeFee...how would you be able to PROVE that she is your FeeFee??
