I'm weird as far as my crate goes. I have a 36" x 48" wire crate for my 2lb 13oz yorkie! Before I get grief though, I did it for a reason.......LOL

We orignially had her in a crate just big enough for her, I think it was a cat crate, but then she had a hypoglycemic incident and we decided to free feed her. So, we upgraded to a little bigger one. Then we noticed that after being in the crate all day, she wouldn't use the bathroom until we got home and let her out. So, we upgraded again and begin putting puppy pads in with her. THEN, she started chewing the stupid puppy pads up, so I researched and decided to litter box train her. That meant we had to upgrade the crate again, so she's got this HUGE crate with her bed, food, water and litter box in it. There is not much floor room left after all that, but it's served our purpose for the past four years!
