as you and others here. I can only imagine what you must be going through right now. Please, please find a different vet to take her to and keep us informed of what they find. We are all praying for you both.
PLEASE, as hard as it is right now to focus on something else, PLEASE write down everything that has happen while it is still fresh in your mind. Then in a few days when you can think straight again, please find the proper authorities to tell. Surly there is a Veterinarian Licensing Board in Canada that you can submit this to. There may be nothing 'legally' that can be done, but it'll go on their record. Does Canada have a Better Business Bureau? I'd contact them too. Even if the vets aren't a member, you can file a complaint and it'll be available for anyone else researching vets.
Oh, I'm so upset right now at that vet!! It's a good thing Texas is so far away from Canada!
