At what age are they considered too old to learn a new trick??

Does anyone have any interesting tricks they can share ... what it is and how they trained their babies?

I know when I catch him in a certain motion that looks like something I give me treats and associate it with words like WAVE or HIGH FIVE or SHAKE PAWS. But I know people that teaches their dogs to roll over and clap ... wonder how that's done ...
