I've been trying to find a good shampoo/conditioner combo that helps make Tink's coat more soft and manageable without being greasy and weighing it down, and I think I've finally found the trick! I used MY shampoo/conditioner (TRESemme' Silk & Protein) yesterday, toweled her off, brushed it out and blow dried it and her coat is BEAUTIFUL! Nice and soft and silky, but not greasy. Even after a full day of playing at the park yesterday she is not all tangled up. I've also started using a small people brush on her instead of her doggie brush (b/c she doesn't like the doggie brush) and she does much better with it. I am trying to train her bangs to lay right, so I blow dried them in the style I wanted them, sprayed some hair spray on her brush and then combed it through her bangs while blow drying them again. The hair spray is one of the "touchable" ones (Pantene Ice Shine - I've also used Pantene Touchable) so her hair isn't stiff, but it keeps it laying right. She is a very pretty puppy right now. I will try and remember to take a pic after I groom her next time to share with ya'll.
