I admire anyone who rescues a dog. What I understand is that not everybody is "chosen" as the new owner for such a special dog. I have not had a rescue dog before, and have only had one dog in my life on my own.
I chose a Yorkie Pup and named her Suzi. The thought did not enter my mind choosing a rescue for a first dog. Mainly because I don't have the experience. Having Suzi, has been rewarding and I have done well with her.
