I have been giving him both and his eye has cleared up and looks great. Well, the past couple of nights he has been making a weird sound. It wakes me up out of my sleep (it's not real loud, I'm just a light sleeper) so I don't get a good listen to it. I'm not sure if its a cough or inverted sneezing. He has only been doing it at night though.

Then today, I noticed a booger on his nose and he has been sneezing. However, he is not acting any different (just as much energy as normal) and he is eating and drinking as normal. I really can't afford to keep taking him to the vet - we have gone three weeks in a row, the first 2 for shots and the last for the eye infection.

When should I really start to worry? Is there anything I should try first? He was supposed to stop taking the amoxicillin yesterday but I continued it for today because he is still sneezing... oh, btw, the sneezing did stop this past week and has started again today.
TIA!
Sometimes the antibiotic doesn't kill the particular bacteria that is causing the infection. Call your vet and let him know he still has symptoms. He may want to try a different antibiotic.

BTW, most vets do rechecks either no charge or for much less than the initial office visit.
