It is my biggest fear with Pixie..I keep her on her leash most of the time so I can hoist her up by her harness if danger comes our way!
I only let her off in specific areas of my neighbourhood that I know really well and that are not the more popular dog walking areas so I can let her run freely with no worries...it's lovely to see her doing that.
When another dog is aproaching us I have to make a quick assessment..the size of the dog and whether it is on/off leash and of course its body language..does it look agressive at all? You have to have eyes in the back of your head with these little ones...I take NO chances whatsoever...
