Sure of course occasionally there might be something like what happened to Thor even that has happened to mine of rare occasion but that would only be for the 2 with tails. I am by no means saying that it never has happened in the past just that it is not normal to have to wash any pups butt after each bowel movement. If you are there is something wrong and it is most likely the food they are eating.

Of course you need to keep their butt hair short but that should be enough to keep them clean~hence groomers every 6 weeks or so. I have talked about this before and would suggest adding canned pumpkin to their food if it is so soft that it sticks. Mine eat NB Sweet Potato and Venison with pumpkin and a little warm water. I started doing this when Doodlebug was very little because his little tummy would be upset sometimes. Now they get it because they are just spoiled. If could possibly be the treat that are being fed as well. You also need to feed good quality treats because that will make very loose sticky poops too.
