toby had kennel cough when he was a puppy, and my vet opted a "non agressive approach" because it wassnt a bad case....... i just used the robitussin DM, if it is kennel cough it will take a while to go away compeltely, i have heard of it lasting MONTHS (toby's i think lasted a month or two) but i have heard of it lasting up to 6
