I've been reading so much about puppy mills and pet stores that sell dogs, cats, rabbits, ect., and the problems with buying from them. Although my Yorkie came from a neighbor of my mom's, who is a breeder, I applaud people who have purchased their dogs from other places. It seems as if the innocent puppies (and etc.) are being punished for the stupidity of people who run these mills and stores. If someone didn't buy them, what would happen to them? I hate to think of it. If I ever won the lottery, I would love to buy every puppy that needed a home, and then shut the mill or store down.
I wish someone would talk about what to do with the innocent animals that are left there. Of course, the chances of me winning the lottery are slim to none, but something has to be done to help these poor animals. It's so sad.

You can't think of it that way. If someone buys them they are then replaced with another (thus continuing the cycle).
