Mackymom...I am an MT (medical transcriptionist) in training. That training had me instantly looking up the side effects, dosages and all the other information about those meds...That is why it is so important to me to get him off of them as soon as possible. I have watched for all of the side effects and dose him VERY carefully. I want to thank you for taking the time to look up all of that for me though
TLC, since he has been on his Meds and the canned food, his poop is the consistency of soft ice cream right now. The vet also thought it could be impaction but felt NOTHING in there and after even having VERY soft (not liquid) poop he still has this reaction. Thats when he put him on the meds. He said the same as you, if it was impaction it would have been either REALLY hard, or REALLY runny but his is just the consistency of ice cream and he goes multiple times a day.
I am welcoming ANY advice....and I will try to take the time (with researching for school and doing medical reports for that, researching for a clue to what Thor has, and 3 kids, my time is stretched) to answer each suggestion to a reason it either didn't work or why i haven't tried it before.
