The little baby girl has made it through her first night!
Does anyone have any experience with sub Q dextrose for tiny, premature puppies? I'm going to call the vet and ask her about that, also I will go to the pet store and get some nutri-drops as suggested. Since she's latching on (with assistance) she must getting some of Tinkerbells milk to have made it this far, right? I'm worried about her hydration.......(one of many worries)
You can see her tiny, itty bitty ribs! She is not fussy but does bob her head alot when trying to get a hold of Tinkerbell's big teats. She seems content when she does get latched on......I try to direct her to the smaller ones - but she has a mind of her own and a determined one at that!
