I recently had a litter of 8 where two of the pups were really tiny and I made the glucose solution mention in the above article and I started giving them that along with some puppy formula, plus they were nursing on their momma and they did real well.

You have to make sure the puppy is warm. Never try to feel a cold puppy. There is nothing like mothers milk so if you can express her milk that that would be good. The first few hours the mother produce colostrum with is important for the puppy to get. Continue to try to get her to nurse. A little karo syrup on mommas nipple might help.
