I did get my Amos from a good breeder and his mom and dad are 7lbs each. His sister is 5lbs and his brother Archie is 7lbs but Amos is now 10lbs and 5 months old. He is not from a puppy mill or back yard breeder. According to breeder and vet. he is not mixed. His grandparents: were 7lbs and 6lbs. So what say?? I believe its true what the vet and breeder said; the original breed averaged 15lbs and only lately breeders have tried to down breed in size. So, size dose not mean they are not purebred.
