I am no help either, just wanted you to know I am right there with you trying to figure it out too.
Penny was barking and howling early this morning, so I got her up and it was a good 20 minutes before she went to the bathroom. Of course part of the problem is she is sooooooo excited to get out of the crate.
She rolls around and jumps all over the place. It takes her forever to calm down in the morning. Once she went to the bathroom I took her to bed with me. Probably not a good idea, but I did it.
